Total Immersion® - Fast and Intense
Pioneered by Berlitz in the late 1960's, Total Immersion® is fast, effective and intense for when you need language skills right away. It offers conversational fluency in as little as two to three weeks! All day even during lunch, you'll speak, listen and think in your new language. You will spend almost eight hours a day, five to six days a week, progressing with your team of native-fluent instructors.
For part of each day, the Total Immersion® student works simultaneously with two instructors to experience three-way conversation. The student handles rapid-fire questions and answers drills from both instructors to develop fluency and comprehension of native speakers talking at a typical speed.
In order to maintain the continuity and flow of instruction, lunch is had at a nearby restaurant with a Berlitz language instructor, Monday through Friday, affording an opportunity to continue practicing a new language in a casual environment.
After the "lunch lesson" the student reviews the morning's material and works on reading and writing exercises.
Once the basics are mastered, the Total Immersion® vocabulary is customized to include specific business terminology and any special requirements of the student.
